We became seriously interested in photography while on a photo/hiking vacation in the Colorado Rockies in 2003.

Our desire for new, exciting shooting sites leads us all over the Western United States, often taking us on 6 to 10 trips a year, from the wet Northwest islands to the dry Southwest deserts. We love discovering scenes of soft rural villages as well as angular business towers.

By 2004 we switched from film to digital cameras, and by 2006 to working with only black & white images. Black & white continues to offer us more dramatic compositions and greater artistic satisfaction.

We have had our photographs published in national photo magazines and have won several art gallery contests.
